We talk about our animals, of course after we discuss your hair and look, which is the most important thing to us! Some of us love to do a bit of psychotherapy while cutting your hair :))
And believe it or not the pub across the road sometimes surprise our clients with a drink. We kid you not!

Here at It's U Mo Chúisle we care about environment and animals. We upcycle tinfoils we use for highlighting. We only use decoration which can be returned to nature or used again. We mix our hair colours consciously so there is no waste. Every now and again we have a “FREE HAIR DAY” when we donate our wages and all clients payments to animal charity (usually Madra or ISPCA) .
Our products Kevin Murphy and Jane Iredale have similar philosophy as us and don't use any ingredients tested on animals.
It's U Mo Chúisle is a unique place. In our salon we look at your hair, your face and your soul. Then we decide together what style will best compliment who you are. The first visit is usually the start of a “professional” friendship. We tend to remember the way you like your coffee, the temperature of the water when washing your hair and the way you like to look when leaving the salon.
Aussie is our salon pet. When he lies in his bed on the window, it means Betty is working. He was rescued in Loughrea a few years ago and Betty adopted him. Aussie loves attention and for some clients, he even gets up and gives them a great welcome.
People love petting him while waiting for their turn. Aussie has helped many of our customers get over their fear of dogs.
If your dog would like to join you when you visit the salon, Aussie doesn't mind.
